My Talks at The Photography Show 2021

Creative Family Photography Talks at TPS

September is upon us and The Photography Show is just around the corner.  From Saturday 18th of September until Tuesday 21st September photographers from all over the UK will head to the NEC in Birmingham for the annual Trade Show of the photography and videography industry.  This show, postponed from March 2019 because of the Pandemic, looks set to be a wonderful event. As the world opens up it will be our first big opportunity to connect with our colleagues in the industry and to see what our suppliers have been getting up to over this turbulent last year.

I’m thrilled to be attending the show alongside my husband and his team from Light Blue Software and you can find me on the Light Blue Software stand C803 for the majority of the show. On the stand we will be demoing the latest version of this fantastic business management software which has been keeping photographers organised since 2008.

As well as this I’m thrilled to have been asked by Canon to present a number of talks on their stand and so on Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday you will be able to find me on the main Canon stage teaching a class on Creative Family Photography.  I’m on at the following times

Saturday 10am

Sunday 12pm

Tuesday 3pm

Creative Family Photography

Family photography is a genre that’s fun for everyone! Whether you’re a seasoned professional or an enthusiast who wants to take brilliant pictures of your children, Canon Ambassador Helen Bartlett will take you on an inspirational journey through some of her favourite images.

Delving into the techniques she uses to get the very best from her subjects and create artistic images in everyday situations, Helen will deliver practical tips that you can use in your own photography. You’ll learn about light, composition, camera techniques, and the best games for a guaranteed smile. This talk will be packed with information, and you’ll leave inspired to take more pictures and with the tools to take better ones.

As well as my main talk I’ll be joining the incredible Chris Packham and David Keep for a Q&A panel on Sunday at 4pm.  Do come and join us and ask lots of questions. It will be a fascinating hour and I can’t wait to hear the insights of my colleagues as we discuss photography – this amazing creative endeavour we all enjoy so much.

I do hope to see you all there.
