Crouch End-based children’s and family photographer featured in Living North Magazine
Having recently moved to Crouch End in North London, I have found it a wonderful place to live – and also to run a business. It has a very strong community feel, with lots of local businesses on the thriving high street and everyone has been so welcoming and keen to help us to feel at home. We have been trying to get involved with local events as much as possible too, and we jumped in feet-first with Helen Bartlett Photography sponsoring the fabulous Crouch End Festival in June, signing up before we had even moved house.
As a business that is new to Crouch End but is already thriving in other areas of London, we were thrilled to be featured in the local magazine Living North Resident with a wonderful two page feature discussing our children’s, family, baby and newborn photography business.
Over a coffee with the magazine’s editor Mark, we discussed everything from my motivation for starting the business to my sources of inspiration, and why I choose to work on location in family homes exclusively in black and white. It was really interesting to chat about these things as I am so lucky that I have a very clear idea about the style and purpose of my children and family photography.
We were absolutely over the moon when the magazine came through the door – Mark has written a wonderful article and it looks fantastic, with a number of my favourite images featured in the article. We really hope that people living in Crouch End, Muswell Hill, East Finchley and other areas of North London will enjoy the article and be interested in arranging a photo session with me for their own children and families.
Here is a picture of the finished article, I hope you agree that it looks fantastic!
