Family Photography with Big Ben

An increasing number of my family photo shoots over the summer months are with families who are visiting London for their holidays. Clients from all over the world, America, China, and Saudi Arabia among other places book family photography sessions to record their vacations in the UK. It’s so much fun showing my wonderful home city to different people and taking pictures that will bring back so many memories of their trip.

When Benjamin got in touch to book a session I was thrilled to oblige, I knew from his email that the family would be a lot of fun to photograph and I wasn’t disappointed. Ryan and Reed were such fun and we had a great time mixing up some posed photographs in front of lots of London’s incredible sights with some good fun games in the park and, of course, making sure we had a break for ice cream.

The boys enjoyed the playgrounds and I was able to introduce them to some of my favourite games in and among the trees of London’s beautiful St James’ Park. I’m surprised that What’s the Time Mr Wolf hasn’t made it to the States, but maybe it will now!

Looking through the pictures to choose a Just One it was really hard to pull out a favourite, there are so many great pictures to choose from but I really like this one of the boys in front of Big Ben. I love the composition, and also how cool the boys look. With their relaxed pose and smiling faces they could be models. I love the contact between the boys, the arm on the shoulder, siblings and friends exploring the world together.
