Just One – Knightsbridge and Battersea family and children’s photographer

I absolutely love today’s ‘Just One’ preview image, a really beautiful, relaxed family portrait from our children and family photography session in Battersea and Knightsbridge in London.

Capturing a moment with this many people – where they are all interacting together, but are still clearly a unit – is difficult. Often when a family are out and about together, they splinter into smaller units as they chat and joke together, so family portraits have to be set-up to fit everyone into the frame.

This shot was taken as we took a moment to rest during our family photo session. The children had just had a snack and John was telling an absolutely hilarious story. The children were laughing and I was clicking away totally forgotten about as the family enjoyed the tale – it was a brilliant story (I do share the sense of humor of an eight year old boy, I blame it on having so many older brothers).

I love the fact that with this picture you can see how much fun everyone is having and I know that when they look at the picture they will remember the story, just as I do, and start to giggle anew.
