Light Blue: Photo 2 released
Apologies for the lack of recent postings on here. January has been crazily busy with our trip to India, buying a house, the SWPP convention and the usual January illness that always seems to sneak up once the adrenaline of the Christmas rush wears off. Things should be back to normal next week.
Before then I’ve got one more announcement for all of the professional photographers who read my blog.
As many of you know my boyfriend Tom Catchesides has written Light Blue: Photo which is business management software for photographers. They unveiled the new, updated, version two for the SWPP convention last week.
The following is from Tom’s blog:
Light Blue: Photo, the business management software for photographers that I helped to unleash upon the world last year, has just been updated to version 2. This major update includes all sorts of useful new features, and I’ll mention a few of the most important here.
Light Blue Software has listened to users’ feedback to make Light Blue: Photo even more intuitive and easier to use, both for existing users and newcomers. As part of v2, every single screen in Light Blue: Photo has been completely redesigned, polishing the interface and adding dozens of new enhancements including, amongst others:
Even more flexible invoice, quote & receipt templates that users can customise with their own branding.
Customisable sets of fields.
The ability to schedule meetings, consultations and viewing sessions as well as shoots.
An easy way of tracking mileage and expenses.
The option to assign different members of staff to shoots, meetings and tasks (especially suitable for larger
businesses).
You can find out more and download a free trial from the Light Blue Software website.
….and back to me again just to say that it really is a fantastic piece of software – I really couldn’t run my business without it so for all you photographers out there, do take a look
