Newborn baby photography in Kensington, London W8

You may remember Ed, Sarah and the beautiful Iona from an earlier blog post this year, when we went out to Kensington Gardens to take some family photographs and some portrait pictures of Iona. We had a wonderful time and created a beautiful album from our day.

So I was thrilled to visit again to welcome Hamish to the family. This time we stayed indoors at Sarah and Ed’s beautiful Kensington home for our newborn baby and family portrait shoot, and took lots of pictures of Hamish to record how tiny and cute he was as a newborn baby.

I love photographing tiny newborn babies and capturing all the emotions that surround them; the extraordinary feeling of love and pride and excitement. It was wonderful to see how pleased Iona was with her new baby brother – they are going to have such fun together, and I think my favourite picture of the whole day is Iona working on the welcome message on the family blackboard.
