Baby and family portrait photography in Balham, SW London

Today’s blog post features another beautiful baby from our family portrait photography session in Balham in South West London.

I had such a wonderful morning with Vicki and Jon photographing their delightful baby Thomas – he is such a cutie, so alert and interested in everything that was going on around him. We spent a great morning together – it’s always lovely when I get to spend so much of a photoshoot laughing.

The weather was kind to us on the day, so we managed to capture a mixture of both indoor and outdoor pictures in our photo shoot. We started our morning capturing snuggly pictures of Thomas on Vicki and Jon’s bed – it’s so lovely when you can photograph babies all warm and cosy, and Thomas had a fine Scandinavian-style onsie that would be the envy of many a grown up!

We then wrapped-up warm and headed outdoors for a few pictures on Clapham Common, making use of the lovely winter light and the interesting backgrounds that the trees provided.
