Children’s and baby photography in Camberwell, South London

With the beautiful weather these last few weeks, it seems strange to remember the rain earlier in the summer but rain there was and I was out in it, a lot. This blog post is from that time and I love the pictures, and didn’t want to miss the opportunity to share them.

The rain brought many challenges but also resulted in some of my favourite pictures of the year, as I had to think hard to find ways to photograph indoors and create interesting, timeless photographs for the family to enjoy for years to come.

We had a great morning together in Camberwell capturing children and baby photographs. My abiding memory will be lying on the floor under the kitchen table with the twins on the table top looking down, and in fits of laughter as we joked together – it’s one of my favourite shots and I hope you will enjoy it too.

We also had lots of fun with other indoor games – bubbles and block building to name a few before, at the end of the morning, a short venture to the park in the rain for some lovely wet weather shots which, to me, really sum up the early summer of 2012.
