Children and family photography in Kensington and Chelsea
Golly, the blog has been quiet recently – I think the proportion of blog posts has been inversely proportional to the amount of work being done. It has been an amazing end to the year, with lots of wonderful shoots. I’m typing this on Friday 21st December as things begin to wind down for Christmas.
So today I shall share with you one of my favorite recent shoots as I catch up with the blog posts over the coming weeks and months. This was an annual shoot for Olga and her family in Chelsea.
I’ve been photographing Olga and her family in London for a number of years now, every autumn since the twins were about eight months old. It is a photo shoot that I look forward to each year – we have captured baby photographs, toddler photographs and now I get to spend time with lovely, fun, interesting children. It’s always an absolute joy and brilliant to see how the children are growing year-on-year.
For this year’s portrait session we visited Kensington Gardens, which one of my favorite places for a photo shoot and spent a wonderful few hours exploring, running around and playing games. The yo-yos were a particular highlight for me; I used to love them when I was a child, although all my skill seems to have disappeared in the last few years (I still do a mean Diablo trick, though).
I hope you enjoy these pictures from our wonderful day out in Kensington and Chelsea taking children’s and family portrait photography with Olga and her beautiful twins.
