Autumn Photo Shoot with Ice Cream
Autumn is Here!
Suddenly it’s Autumn. I’m sat at my computer, processing pictures from the summer and I can see the change in the seasons from my window. It’s colder this week and the leaves are beginning to fall from the trees, there are conkers on the ground when I go for a run. Like most photographers I love this time of year, the low light is incredible and there’s something wonderful about fresh bright autumn days. Yes, there’s rain, but we’ve had rain all through the summer too and we can easily dodge downpours and stamp in puddles, bring on the Autumn photo shoots I say, they are always a blast.
Today I want to share a sneak preview from one of the first of the autumn shoots in beautiful West London. My fifth shoot with this fantastic family and we were lucky to have a warm day for it, possibly the last of the warm days for a while. I have a sneaky suspicion though that, whatever the weather, we would have managed an ice cream and I might have taken my favourite ice cream shot so far, look at those excited little faces!
It’s always such fun choosing favourites for my sneak preview and this year I have branched out a bit to share a couple of images as standard rather than a single shot, I want to show a bit more of the variety of pictures that I take here on the blog.
So, to sum up a wonderful morning at the park – portraits, action shots, family groups and of course ice cream, what more could you want from a family photo shoot?
