Children’s and family portrait photography in Lyme Regis, Dorset
Today’s blog post features pictures from the second half of my friend Ed’s fortieth birthday celebrations during the Easter weekend in Lyme Regis, Dorset. (For the first part, please take a look at the post from earlier in the week here.)
As so many of Ed’s friends now have children, the weekend was arranged around a number of great activities – playing on the beach, fossil hunting, drinks at his parents’ cottage, crazy golf and, of course, a re-enactment of the famous scene from Jane Austen’s Persuasion on the Cobb in Lyme Regis!
It was such a fun weekend and everyone was very relaxed. As you can imagine, there were plenty of opportunities for children’s and family photography as everyone had fun and enjoyed themselves. We even briefly saw the sun!
Here are a few favourites from the weekend, mostly featuring the children because, well, they are just so much fun to photograph! I hope you enjoy this selection of pictures from the weekend.
