Family Photo Shoot with Triplets in Hampstead

It’s such a pleasure when clients return year on year to have their pictures taken and it feels even more of a privilege when clients don’t live in the UK but fit me in when they visit from abroad. I was thrilled when this lovely family booked in for their third session when they were visiting London this summer.
I first met the triplets when they were about nine months old, and it’s always stuck in my mind as one of the most joyful and relaxed baby sessions I’ve ever had. I guess with three little ones then relaxed is the only option. We had a brilliant time then, a brilliant time when they visited when the boys were young children back in 2017 and a brilliant time on this session when the boys were ten and even more of a delight to hang out with.
Hampstead Heath for relaxed family photos
As the family was staying in North London we headed to beautiful Hampstead Heath for our family photo shoot. I seem to have spent a lot of this summer on Hampstead Heath and it’s a fantastic location with lots of great options and so much to keep everyone entertained. It also has some of the best climbing trees in London which always makes for a fun session.
Group shots
Group shots are an important part of any family photo shoot and one of the main reasons that people book a professional photographer. I like to look for different ways to approach these from the more formal ‘eyes to camera’ shot, to the unposed moments where a family comes together naturally, and I can take an image that shows the close bonds of love.
Portraits
Portraits are a huge part of each family photo shoot, and I really enjoyed making sure I took beautiful images of all three of these handsome triplets during our family photo shoot on Hampstead Heath. I like to make sure each picture is a little unique and I love how their personalities shine through in these images.
