Family photography on holiday in the New Forest

I have done an awful lot of traveling around the UK this summer capturing photographs on families enjoying their holidays. I always enjoy getting out of London and so I was thrilled when my regular clients, Mairi and Ramesh, called to ask if I would join them on holiday in the New Forest to take some photographs of their gorgeous children.

It was an early start, but I arrived in the New Forest feeling really excited to be taking children and family photographs in such a beautiful part of the UK. The light was just lovely and after copious quantites of coffee, we headed out to explore.

We spent an amazing day together, den-building in the woods and then playing in the most wonderful stream – I honestly couldn’t have come up with a more idylic location if I had been dreaming. It was just beautiful and my boots held up well too, keeping my feet dry while I waded knee-deep in the stream.
