Family photography in Knole Park
We headed to beautiful Knole Park for our photo shoot in something that has become a bit of a tradition – exploring this fantastic setting and finding new opportunities for pictures. It’s a location I’ve grown to love and I always look forward to returning to Knole Park as the opportunities are endless.
Beautiful paths, fantastic fallen trees, wonderful woodland areas, Knole Park has it all and the options for family photographs are fantastic.
I’m always looking for light and shade and great backgrounds as well as opportunities to build family group shots in interesting ways.
Black and white for family photography
On our shoots we always take a lovely mix of group shots and portrait pictures which will add to the wonderful collection of images on the wall, images taken over time which al fit seamlessly together in stunning black and white.
The longer I go in my career the more I love seeing how beautifully black and white pictures sit together over time. As changes in fashion and colour have come and gone over the last decade our images still work beautifully. We don’t have clashing outfits or the slight changes in colour that you get from day to day and from year to year with both differing light on photo shoot day but also changes in camera technology and printing processes.
Black and white always looks fantastic and the pictures we take today look wonderful with those from our first shoot in 2015 and will look wonderful with our next shoot, and our next, and our next. I can’t wait to see what the future will bring.
Family pictures with pets
The second half of our shoot we spent at home playing in the garden with the girl’s beloved dogs who have also been a constant part of our photo shoots from the beginning. It’s wonderful to see how much the girls adore them and how they are loved in return.
We had a brilliant time in the garden, and I know these pictures will be treasured.
