A Photo Shoot with London Landmarks

A London Landmark photo shoot to share here on the blog today. This shoot wasn’t a family vacation session which is often the occasion that people book a photo shoot around London’s most famous sites, instead this was my sixth shoot with this wonderful family and one which echoed a recent scavenger hunt that they had enjoyed.

We started the day with a list of locations to visit and then, jumping in the car to zip from one place to another, we travelled around London taking pictures that included some of the iconic elements of our wonderful city while also giving us opportunities for beautiful portraits.

These photo shoots that include London’s iconic landmarks are a lot of fun, especially finding new angles and approaches.  Here we were keen to shots of the kids together and lots of stunning portraits which is always something I really enjoy.

An 8am start meant we were out before the crowds for our first locations, and we managed a few different spots before stopping for a bite of breakfast in beautiful Covent Garden – ensuring everyone is well fed is so important when taking pictures to ensure everyone’s energy levels stay topped up.

Over the morning we took in so many great spots from the London Eye and Big Ben to Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden, Piccadilly Circus and Little Venice. A lot of fun locations and a lot of wonderful pictures. I’m looking forward to sharing the full set with my clients but for today, here’s a sneak preview of a few favourites. I hope you like them.
